The Empower Campaign is a nonprofit that works to provide educational opportunities to orphaned and vulnerable children in Uganda, Africa. The audience for the Mr. Empower Pageant will pay $3 for admission and the proceeds will benefit The Empower Campaign. Therefore, the contestants are actually performing a volunteer service requirement for three hours, which may be useful to many student organizations. In addition, contestants’ student organizations will be promoted throughout the contest.

Please e-mail if you are interested in participating. The entry fee per contestant is $5, which will be pooled and then combined with $50 from Empower OU for the $100 grand prize. The contestant entry deadline is Wednesday, February 3.
